About Us

We are a passionate group of Live Oak locals dedicated to sharing the rich history of our community. But why is the story of Live Oak's history so important? Traditionally, live Oak has been viewed merely as a passage between Santa Cruz and Capitola. We aim to change that perception. Our primary goal is to instill pride in our community, fostering a spirit of involvement that will make Live Oak an even better place to live. A particular emphasis will be placed on educating our youth through local elementary and middle schools. Despite our differences in politics and beliefs, we hope this project will unite us around the common goal of enhancing our community.
